Within a few years she established the Washington Township Schools Community Tennis Program at North Central High School, growing the organization from 6 courts to 27. In 2003, the community tennis center located on the grounds of North Central High School was finished and named in her honor.

Along with Arthur Ashe, Wynne founded the Indianapolis chapter of the National Junior Tennis League program. The International Tennis Federation awarded her the Educational Merit award, and in 2001 Wynne received the International Tennis Federation’s Service Award.
