HUGE congratulations to our very own Nishesh Basavareddy, B14s Orange Bowl Champion!

Basavareddy defeated Rashed Naif 6-4, 6-2 in the finals, clinching the title without dropping a single set the entire tournament!

It’s been quite a comeback from injury for Nishesh to close out the year. On top of winning the Orange Bowl, in the last 6 months he won the B16 Midwest Closed, was B14 USTA National Clay Court Champion and Doubles Finalist, was undefeated 14’s world Junior Championships, and won a J5 ITF. Absolutely incredible.

We can hardly wait to see what 2020 has in store!

We are honored and excited to be hosting the IHSAA Girls State Finals once again this year.

New at ICTP this year! We are currently the only program in the area offering UTR tournaments!

UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) is a rating system that promotes fair and competitive play across the tennis world. Players are rated based on actual results, not age, gender, nationality, or socioeconomic status. UTR is a number that provides a real and accurate measurement of skill level. A player’s UTR is a is a number between 1.00 and 16.50. One match result is all it takes to receive a projected UTR. After approximately five matches, the rating becomes official. As matches are played and entered into the system, a player’s UTR will increase or decrease over time.

This summer ICTP is hosting three one day UTR tournaments. These UTR registered one day tournaments are May 12th, May 25th, and August 3rd.

To register for the UTR tournaments, you need to make an account at myutr.com and search for the “Indianapolis Community Tennis Program” club.
