Memorial and Thanksgiving Gardens

Thanks to Volunteers Stan and Janet Thompson and Jenny Reifeis, the landscaping surrounding the Tennis Center at North Central is being improved. All trees will remain. Beautiful plantings may be designated in memory or thanksgiving for friends and family you wish to honor with a special perennial plant.  A donation of $50 to Indianapolis Junior Tennis Development Fund will secure both the plant and recognition of honoree on either a Thanksgiving or Memorial framed Tribute listing in the Tennis House Banner Hall.

2020 Gardens Update:

Twenty-six Shasta Daisy perennial plants will be planted along with south wall of the Tennis House in May (if pandemic rules allow) in loving memory of special friends.  Additional Daisy memorial plants will be planted near the flagpole.  All donated Thanksgiving Plants will be planted in the west median island as you enter the Tennis House Parking lot.

The Stan Thompson Family has taken on the beautification of the landscape around the Tennis House. They have done an excellent job removing old/dead plants and adding new bushes and plants. Their families applied mulch and topsoil last summer. Donors and honorees will be posted in the Tennis House or you may remain anonymous. Notifications and donations honoring friends received by April 30, 2020 will be planted this May.
