What equipment do I need?

For all classes we recommend a racquet, tennis shoes, and a water jug or bottle.

Tot Classes (B1, B2, C1 and C2)
We have a limited selection of racquets which can be borrowed for the class.

Camp (A1, A2 and A3)
Players should bring a racquet, tennis shoes, water jug, swimsuit, towel, and a lunch. Sunscreen and hat are also recommended.

High Performance
Players should bring a racquet, water jug, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, and a hat. We encourage you to bring the goodies you normally carry in your bag, too!

What if it rains?

This is the ultimate question and unfortunately there is no easy answer.

Some classes meet rain or shine!
Our camps (A1, A2, and A3) as well as our tot classes (B1, B2, C1, and C2) meet indoors if it is raining.

Text Alerts
Please take a moment to sign up for our text alerts with your class' corresponding code listed in the class description and registration confirmation.

We do our best to communicate in a timely manner. If it is raining before class begins we will send a text alert that class has been cancelled. We aim to make a decision 45 minutes before the start of class.

All weekly classes will have rain make-ups in the event of cancellation.

Should the rain hit during class, all players will be removed from the courts. If the forecast looks like we will get back on the courts, we will do other activities until the courts are clear. For our High Performance If it looks like we will not be able to get back on court, players will need to be picked up.

Do you offer before/after care?

At this time we do not offer structured before or after care. Players are able to use our Arthur Ashe Reading Room if needed, but please note they will not be supervised.

High Performance

Can I sign up for just a week?

Yes! We offer a weekly registration for all of our High Performance classes. (Just choose the weekly option under High Performance.) For these groups, a credit card is kept on file and is charged according to attendance. A "week" consists of 5 days played. They do not have to be played consecutively.

Please note: HP 2021 options will be dependent upon current Covid guidelines and restrictions which, to date, are undetermined.

Why the price difference for weekly registrations?

The cost of our HP1 and HP2 groups is $250/week. HP3 is $150/week. Summer long registrations receive a price break as we assume you will miss class at some point - vacation, camp, enjoying the summer, etc.

Please note: HP 2021 options will be dependent upon current Covid guidelines and restrictions which, to date, are undetermined.
